Last evening I participated in a webinar titled "How Mature are You (Genealogically)?". The presentation was given by Robert Raymond and sponsored by the Virtual Chapter of the Utah Genealogical Association. Raymond presented his method for assessing how proficient one is in genealogical research. For more information, you can read about the Genealogical Maturity Model here at the FamilySearch wiki.
For those who want to assess their understanding and use of genealogical standards and improve their skills in family research, this is a good starting point.
